BAKED LEAVENED CAKE
Filled with soft cubes of orange and raisin and decorated with a glaze of Piemonte PGI hazelnuts, sugar crystals and whole almonds.
Santa Claus would hardly make such a good present!
INGREDIENTS: wheat flour type 00, butter (milk), egg yolk, candied orange (Italian orange peel, glucose syrup and sugar), raisin, sugar, natural yeast (wheat flour type 0 and water), water, Italian honey, lemon and candied citron in varying proportions (lemon peel and Italian citron, glucose syrup and sugar), whole milk, salt, fresh orange peel, maize starch, vanilla.
GLAZE: sugar (whose granulated sugar 3%), Sicilian almonds (whose whole 5%), egg whites, maize starch, hazelnuts Piemonte IGP 1%, apricot kernel.
It may contain nuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, peanuts, soya and sesame. Without preservatives and artificial colourings. Store in a cool and dry place.
